10 Apsars – Abkhazia

Centered on the smooth field is the relief State Emblem of Abkhazia, with the Abkhaz inscription "Аҧсны Абанк" (The Bank of Abkhazia) below. Above the emblem, a semicircular inscription denotes the denomination "10 ҦСАРК". Along the left rim are the metal's chemical symbol, fineness, and weight; the mint mark is on the right. At the bottom, on a matte field, "Аҧсны Абанк" and the mintage year "2014" appear in raised print.

The coin features a portrait of Georgiy Dzidzaria, a renowned Abkhaz historian, teacher, and public figure, set against coastal mountains and departing makhadjirs. The Abkhazian inscription "Georgiy Dzidzaria" arcs above, with the dates "1914", "1988", and the number "100" below.
