500 Tenge (Independence) – Kazakhstan

The coat of arms of Kazakhstan is framed by inscriptions of the country's name in Kazakh ("ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ") and Russian ("РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН"), along with national ornamentation. The denomination "500 ТЕҢГЕ" is at the bottom, and the logo of the National Bank of Kazakhstan is at the top.

The coin's reverse features a gilded fragment of the "Kazakh Eli" monument against a map of Kazakhstan, with figures in national dress symbolizing unity. Doves for peace and the inscription "25 ЖЫЛ" appear above. Around the edge are the inscriptions "ТӘУЕЛСІЗ ҚАЗАҚСТАНҒА" and "Ag 925 24 g". The year "2016" is at the bottom.
