5000 Tenge (Kazakhstan Independence) – Kazakhstan

On the obverse, the Kazakhstan coat of arms is centered within an ornamental rosette, surrounded by the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫК БАНКI". Below is the face value "5000 ТЕҢГЕ". To its left are the mint mark and "1 kg."; to the right, "Ag 925". The coin features a beaded rim and raised edge.

On the reverse, a polished circle features a stylized map of Kazakhstan with a fragment of the Independence Monument from Almaty. To the right is "10 ЖЫЛ" above a national flag element and "АСТАНА". Around the top circumference is "ТУУЕЛСІЗ ҚАЗАҚСТАНҒА", and at the bottom is the year "2001". The coin has a raised rim.
