500 Tenge (Turkestan) – Kazakhstan

The obverse features "500 ТЕҢГЕ" at its center. Below a band of national ornament and the National Bank emblem is the date "2000." To its left is "Au 999," and to its right is the Kazakhstan Mint trademark. The circumference bears the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫК БАНКI."

The reverse features the southern portal of the Khawaja Ahmad Yasawi mausoleum, above a bead border and the inscription "1500 ЖЫЛ ТҮРКIСТАН" in three receding lines, symbolizing the path to the temple. Around the circumference is "КОЖА АХМЕТ ЯСАУИ КЕСЕНЕСI".
