The surface has three concentric circles. The outer ring features Egyptian decorations. The middle, sand-colored ring displays 12 deities representing the months, grouped clockwise into three seasons of four months each, starting with the Season of the Inundation at the bottom. The central ring contains the Eye of Horus within a triangle. The triangle's extended corners divide the middle and outer rings into three equal sections for the seasons, with each season's name in hieroglyphs outside the triangle's sides.
