The surface has three concentric circles. The outer ring features 13 encircled Ogham letters for the Celtic Tree Calendar Moons, set clockwise from the top amid Celtic ornaments. The middle green ring displays the 13 corresponding plants: Birch (Betula sp.), Rowan (Sorbus sp.), Ash (Fraxinus sp.), Alder (Alnus sp.), Willow (Salix sp.), Hawthorn (Crataegus sp.), Oak (Quercus sp.), Holly (Ilex sp.), Hazel (Corylus sp.), Vine (Vitis sp.), Ivy (Hedera sp.), Reed (Phragmites sp.), and Elder (Sambucus sp.). The central part has four smaller encircled triskelions for the seasons, surrounding a larger central triskelion for the year.
