500 Tenge – Kazakhstan

The obverse features a rosette containing the national coat of arms, surrounded by inscriptions of the country's name in Kazakh and Russian. The top shows the National Bank's logo; the bottom shows the denomination "500 ТЕҢГЕ". A decorative pattern is on the mirror field. The raised rim bears the year "2016" and the metal specification "Ag 925 31.1g".

The coin's reverse features an oxidized, stone-like relief of a Turkic chief, set against runic letters from the Orkhon complex stele. The stylized stone rim emphasizes this connection. The edge bears the inscription "КҮЛТЕГІН" in Turkic runes and the series name: "ДАЛА ҚАЗЫНАСЫ", "СОКРОВИЩА СТЕПИ", and "TREASURES OF THE STEPPE".
