1 Apsar – Abkhazia

Centered above is the relief State Emblem of Abkhazia, with the Abkhaz inscription "Аҧсны Абанк" (The Bank of Abkhazia) beneath it. The denomination appears in a semicircle above the emblem. Below, on a matte field, are the raised inscriptions "Аҧсны Абанк" and the mintage year "2016".

Reverse: The central image depicts St. Andrew's Cathedral in Pitsunda. To its left is a processional cross; to its right, an Abkhazian Catholicos mitre. Above, a semicircular Abkhazian inscription reads: "Ацқьа Андреи Аҧхьанаҧхьаҩ изку Пицундатәи аныха." The date of the cathedral's construction is inscribed below its image.
