10 Apsars (Occupation of Gagra) – Abkhazia

On the upper mirrored field, the Bank of Abkhazia's emblem. Below it, the Abkhaz inscription "Аҧсны Абанк," above which a semicircular "10 ҦСАРК" denotes the denomination. To the right, the mint mark includes the metal symbol and fineness. On the lower matte field, "Аҧсны Абанк" and the issue year "2012" are inscribed in small raised print.

Central figure: a volunteer corps member in a bashlyk with a gun, before Mount Mamzishkha. Flanked by "XX лет" and a plan for Gagra's liberation. Around the rim: Abkhazian inscriptions and a ribbon. Central motif: two crossed swords symbolizing valor and victory. On the ribbon: "ГАГРА" with dates 06.10.1992 and 06.10.2012.
