10 Hryven – Ukraine

Ukraine's Small Coat of Arms tops the design, with the inscription "УКРАЇНА/10 ГРИВЕНЬ 2016." Below, a stylized scene shows Kyiv's hills, a chapel, and monastery caves with a kneeling monk in prayer.

A stylized temple bearing the inscription "ФЕОДОСІЙ ПЕЧЕРСЬКИЙ ХІ СТ." forms the background for an icon of Theodosius of the Caves. He holds a scroll that reads: "ГОСПОДИ, В ІМ'Я ПРЕСВЯТОЇ БОГОРОДИЦІ, МАТЕРІ ТВОЄЇ, ЗВЕДЕНИЙ БУВ ХРАМ ЦЕЙ."
