Apostles and evangelists—Peter, John, Mark, Andrew, James, Thomas, Paul, Matthew, Luke, Simon, Bartholomew, and Philip—are depicted against stylized grapevines on both sides. The halos of the Saviour, Theotokos, apostles, and evangelists, plus the star on the Theotokos's robes, are gold-plated. At the bottom is the inscription: ІВЕРСКАЯ (OF IVERON).
