The one-ounce sterling silver proof coin, in British crown size, features a printed color image. It is housed in a circular capsule within a 7.7 cm black rexine Royal Mint presentation box. The box lid bears the CBSL emblem in silver and "60th Anniversary - Central Bank of Sri Lanka - 1950 2010". The coin's periphery reads "CENTRAL BANK OF SRI LANKA" in Tamil, Sinhala, and English, with the CBSL crest in color and "1950-2010" at its center. A numbered, trilingual certificate of authenticity is included.
