1000 Tenge – Kazakhstan

The central coat of arms of Kazakhstan is flanked by national ornament, encircled by the inscriptions "QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY" and "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN," with the coin's denomination at the bottom.

The reverse shows fragments of Kazakh traditions: a man greeting at a yurt, a loaded camel, a woman with a child on horseback, a dog, and a man in national dress. National patterns fill the field, with the metal, fineness, and weight above, the issue year in the center, and "ERÝLIK" below.
