The central coat of arms is flanked by national ornament, encircled by "QAZAQSTAN ULTTYQ BANKI • NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN" and the face value "200 TEŃGE" at the bottom.

Left: inscription "REICHSTAG" and "ТҮТІН". Right: portrait of Raqymjan Qoshqarbaev in WWII uniform, who first raised the flag on the Reichstag. Flanking the portrait are the "HALYQ QAHARMANY" badge (awarded posthumously, 1999) and the coin's issue year with the National Bank logo. Bottom: a stylized battle scene with inscriptions "HALYQ QAHARMANY", "100 JYL", "RAQYMJAN QOSHQARBAEV", and his lifespan.
