Pope Francis's coat of arms: a blue shield with a mitre and crossed keys above. It features a radiant sun with the red IHS monogram (the H topped by a cross) and three black nails, an eight-pointed star for St. Joseph, and a nard flower for the Virgin Mary. The motto "MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO" is below, with "FRANCISCVS PP.A.XI MMXXIII" above.
