5 Hryven (National Museum of Taras Shevchenko) – Ukraine

The obverse features the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, the inscription "НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ," and a composition of museum exhibits, including the "Kateryna" painting and a bandura. It also shows the Mint's logotype, the year 2009, and the denomination "5 ГРИВЕНЬ."

The museum's 19th-century building features a portrait of T.H. Shevchenko with the inscriptions "НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ МУЗЕЙ" and "ТАРАСА ШЕВЧЕНКА 60 РОКІВ" against a relief background.
