2 Hryvni (I. Sikorsky) – Ukraine

The obverse features the Ilya Muromets aircraft, whose 1913 design brought Sikorsky worldwide fame. Above, against a relief background, is the semicircular inscription "Національний банк України" with the Small Coat of Arms below. Beneath this are the year 2009, the face value "2 ГРИВНІ", and the Mint's logotype.

A portrait of Sikorsky in uniform is beside Leonardo da Vinci's drawing, with the arched inscription "ІГОР СІКОРСЬКИЙ (1889-1972)."
