5 Hryven – Ukraine

The design features Ukraine's small coat of arms and the word "УКРАЇНА." A vertical stripe representing the Dnipro River separates stylized Khortytsia island structures. The city's coat of arms and a plan of Oleksandr's Fortress are shown on opposite "banks," connected by a bridge. Below are the denomination "5 ГРИВЕНЬ," the year 2020, and the mint mark.

A stylized composition on a smooth background symbolizes the city's history and modern life: the outline of a Cossack's face frames St. Nicholas Church, with a stone sculpture to its left and a historic building to its right. Stylized modern residences form the backdrop, above the legend "ЗАПОРІЖЖЯ" and the dam of the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant.
