2 new sheqalim – Israel

Israel's emblem, face value, "Israel" in English, Hebrew, and Arabic, mint year and mark, "The Twelve Spies" inscription in three languages, and a decorative grape cluster below.

An artistic depiction of the spies carrying the immense fruits of the Land of Israel, including grapes, pomegranates, and figs (Numbers 13:23). An olive branch and a large pomegranate represent the seven species. A jug of flowing milk symbolizes the "land flowing with milk and honey."
