The Holy Grail of Valencia Cathedral is a stone agate cup, dating from the 2nd century BC to the 1st century AD. According to tradition, it was used by Jesus at the Last Supper. King Alfonso V of Aragon donated it to the Cathedral in 1437. Its mounting features a red agate bowl on a silver base, with gold and a purple Swarovski crystal symbolizing Christ's passion.
