6 Ducats – Regensburg

Above the city, a haloed triangle with three flames represents the Holy Trinity, and a crowned eagle with imperial regalia symbolizes the Holy Roman Empire. Below are the city's coat of arms and mint master's initials. The foreground shows the fortified northern bridgehead with guardhouses and a border barrier. Behind it are the Danube and the Stone Bridge. To the bridge's left is the Lower Wöhrd with fishing huts; to its right, the Upper Wöhrd with mills. Both islands are connected by a dam. The walled city skyline centers on St. Peter's Cathedral, surrounded by patrician towers.
