On the obverse, a waxing crescent moon and star face northwest at the coin's center. Above them runs the inscription "ISLAMI JAMHORIA PAKISTAN" and its Urdu equivalent. The year 2021 is below the crescent, above two upward-curving wheat springs. The numeral "50" and "RUPIA" in Urdu are to the right and left of the crescent star, respectively.
