100 Apsars – Abkhazia

The central field features a four-line inscription of the denomination and issuer. To its left are the issue year and the State Emblem. Below the inscription is an image of the Constitution. To the right are an alabashcha staff and a Caucasian shashka. Historical flags are printed in color along the coin's edge.

The design centers on a mounted Abkhaz archer shooting an arrow at the stars, a motif from the Nart epic and the national emblem. Behind him are a map of Abkhazia's administrative divisions and its waving flag. Seven gilded heraldic stars are struck around the coin's edge.
